Round 1 Ole throws a cross that easily dodged by Caneca. Ole Stevens is staggered by a jab to the chin. Ole Stevens throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. A few well timed strikes from Arminio Caneca puts Ole Stevens on the mat giving his back up. Arminio lands a series of heavy punches forcing Ole Stevens to roll to his back, giving Arminio mount. Ole attempts to escape mount but has no luck. Arminio telegraphs his motions for an armbar, but Stevens gives up his back to stop the attempt. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 A couple of powerful body shots forces Stevens back to the corner. Caneca swims to double underhooks. Stevens cannot stop Caneca from stepping back and taking him to the floor. Ole Stevens is caught in a can opener and opens his guard. He lands two quick strikes but Arminio transitions to half guard. Arminio Caneca hits Stevens with some punches to the side of the head. Arminio slips out of half guard and into side control. Ole almost switches side control around, but falls short at the last moment. Arminio Caneca lands a few stiff elbows from side control. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 Ole Stevens snaps back the head of Caneca with a stiff jab. Ole Stevens lands a strong outside leg kick that is returned by Caneca. Ole keeps Arminio at a distance with some well timed jabs. Arminio circles Ole, landing jabs and crosses at will. Ole lands a strong outside leg kick that buckles Arminio Caneca. Ole then switch kicks Arminio Caneca in the jaw, stunning him for a flurry of punches that leaves Arminio Caneca out cold.
