After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Pereira works Alberto into a corner from the clinch. Pereira presses his head under Alberto Boass chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Pereira drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Alberto Boas sets a guillotine choke but Pereira slips out at the last moment. Pereira is now caught in guard. Alberto Boas lands a stiff elbow while on his back. Manuel tries to pass guard but Boas stops him with a well timed punch. Manuel Pereira drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. While using the guard Alberto Boas sets in an unconventional shoulder lock. Manuel taps.
