Round 1 Peter connects with a series of punches forcing Buzz into a clinch. Peter attempts to grab the plum but is kept off balance by Buzz Griffins strikes. Long attempts a takedown from the clinch, but Buzz pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. Buzz attempts a takedown, but Peter Long clumsily falls down without much provocation. Griffin drops a huge strike to Peters chin, landing into his guard. Long attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. "MCC" sends Peter Long to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Long is hit with a series of powerful punches while utilizing the guard. Peter Long is caught in a can opener and opens his guard. He lands two quick strikes but "MCC" transitions to half guard. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Buzz gets double underhooks, and unleashes unanswered knees to the midsection. While tied up, Long is met with a hard uppercut. Buzz throws a cross that easily dodged by Peter Long. The fighters circle each other. Peter keeps Buzz Griffin at a distance with some well timed jabs. Buzz Griffin connects with a right that puts Peter Long off balance tumbling to the mat, as Buzz Griffin towers over him. Griffin drops a powerful fist onto Long. Peters eyes roll back into his head, and this fight is over.
