Round 1
Miguel Martinez connects with a strong right hook. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Miguel Martinez is able to work to two overhooks and lands some strong knees and short hooks. Darren receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Martinez. Miguel attempts a takedown from the clinch, but Darren Cloutier pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. Martinez circles Darren Cloutier, landing jabs at will. Miguel Martinez circles Darren Cloutier, landing jabs and crosses at will. Miguel rushes in grabbing an overhook. He then shoots his opposite arm beneath the overhook, falls back and tumbles, cartwheeling Cloutier through the air with a beautiful japanese whizzer and takes side control. Round 1 is finished.

Round 2
Miguel Martinez loses his balance from a well timed strike, and is awkwardly taken down by Darren Cloutier for the mistake. Darren Cloutier has side control. Darren slides his knee across the body of Miguel and takes full mount. Darren Cloutier maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Miguel gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Darren peppers Martinez with several shots to the face. Darren Cloutier sets in a body triangle, breaks Miguel down, and stretches his back. Miguel taps out.
