Daniel is hit with a jab and then taken down with a strong trip takedown. Daniel gives up guard avoiding a powerful hammer fist. He now has half guard. "The Career Killer" tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. Daniel Thomas hits an upward elbow on "The Career Killer", and attempts to get to full guard. During the scramble though "The Career Killer" takes side control. Thomas almost switches side control around, but falls short at the last moment. Cal switches his posture a bit, and sets in an arm triangle choke. Thomas turns purple then taps out.
