It doesn't pay off as Randy makes his way to standing. Randy Poulin is hit with a jab and then taken down by a beautiful single-leg takedown. A strong chopping strike hits Preston across the face. Preston lands a series of return strikes. Poulin attempts an armbar. Preston time a spin perfectly landing a strong overhand as he works his way into Randys guard. Round 2 comes to a close.

Davis fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Poulin. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Davis dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Randy Poulin standing over him. As Preston Davis attempts to keep Randy in front of him, Randy grabs Daviss ankle and viciously lays into his thigh with multiple kicks. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
