Round 1 Ronnie Cherry throws a cross that easily dodged by Collins. Ronnie is staggered by a jab to the chin. Ronnie connects with a series of punches forcing Kevin Collins into a clinch. Kevin Collins grabs the plum and pulls Ronnies face towards a powerful knee which is blocked. Kevin Collins lets go of the hold and lands a hook. A looping right hook from Kevin sends Ronnie Cherry to the mat. Kevin Collins drops a huge strike to Ronnie Cherrys chin, landing into his guard. Two strong elbows from Kevin dazes Cherry. Kevin transitions into side control. Ronnie Cherry takes a few knees to the body while under Kevins side control. Cherry is wisely defending a kimura. Collins attempts to take it but Cherry is having none of it, though Collins has used the chance the slide into mount.Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Cherry plows through Collins with a driving double leg takedown. Collins gives up guard avoiding a powerful hammer fist. He now has half guard. Ronnie Cherry is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Cherry throws some outside strikes at Kevin. Collins gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Ronnie Cherry peppers Kevin Collins with several shots to the face. Ronnie Cherry lands undefended strikes to the side of Collinss head. The ref stops the fight.
