Round 1 Hart circles "DBA", mixing jabs and leg kicks. Jay stuffs a shot from "DBA" and hits him with a hard hook to the temple and pushes him to take his guard. While caught in the guard, Jay opens up a cut on Moreno with a devestating elbow. Palo attempts to transition to the butterfly guard but Hart is too quick and takes half guard. Jay opens a cut over the eye of Moreno. The doctor takes a look at it, and says he's okay to continue. Hart hits Palo with some punches to the side of the head. Jay opens a cut over the eye of "DBA". The doctor takes a look at it, and says he's okay to continue. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Palo is able to work to two overhooks and lands some strong knees and short hooks. Jay attempts a takedown from the clinch, but Moreno pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. Palo is met with a hook cross combo that staggers him. Jay explodes with a flurry of punches. Palo is then thrown to the floor. Hart drops a huge strike to Palos chin, landing into his guard. Moreno attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. "DBA" narrowly dodges a cross from Jay Hart, but falls catching him in his guard. A right hand from Moreno while in guard angers Jay who returns the favor with a powerful right hand. Palo is caught in a can opener and opens his guard. He lands two quick strikes but Hart transitions to half guard. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 The fighters circle each other. Moreno snaps back the head of Jay with a stiff jab. Moreno executes a single leg giving him the back of Jay Hart. Moreno tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Hart starts to wiggle out of back control, Palo lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Hart circles "DBA", landing jabs and crosses at will. Jay Hart fakes a shot and lunges forward pressing Moreno to a corner. Moreno swims for underhooks but is taken down in the process.Round 3 comes to a close.
Round 4 The fighters circle each other. Palo takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Hart is staggered by a jab to the chin. The fighters circle each other. "DBA" parries Harts jab and connect with a cross. Jay shoots a takedown from a distance putting Palo Moreno on the ground. Round 4 is over.
Round 5 Moreno eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Jay. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. "DBA" attempts to grab the plum but is tripped to the floor by Hart who lands in his guard. Jay Hart takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Palos guard. It doesn't pay off as Palo Moreno makes his way to standing. Jay narrowly dodges a cross from Moreno, but falls catching him in his guard. Jay Hart lands a stiff elbow while on his back. Hart attempts an armbar from the bottom, but Moreno slips out at the last moment. Moreno is caught in a triangle while in Jays guard. He struggles but cannot get out. He eventually taps.
