Round 1 Bernie sends Biek to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. A right hand from Luiss guard angers Wood who returns the favor with a powerful left hand. Biek attempts a few a shots from the guard, but gets mounted for his troubles. Biek gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Biek carefully protects himself from Bernie Woods strikes. Luis starts to wiggle out of back control, Bernie lets him escape putting them both on their feet. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Wood fakes a shot attempt from the clinch, opening Luis Biek up for a flurry of hooks. Bernie Wood parries Bieks jab and lands a hook that floors Luis. Wood lays into Bieks thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Luis Biek does so. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Bernie Wood is cut open under the eye by a standing elbow strike. Wood parries Bieks jab and connect with a cross. Bernie parries Luiss jab and lands a hook that floors Biek. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 Bernie slips a cross from Luis and lands an uppercut to the liver. Luis circles Bernie, landing jabs and crosses at will. Luis attempts to clinch, but Bernie connects with an uppercut to the jaw. A left high kick from Luis keeps Wood at bay. Bernie Wood is rocked by a standing elbow strike. Biek presses forward landing a couple more strikes, but Bernie Wood survives the onslaught with well timed blocks. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
