Round 1
The fighters circle each other. Romero narrowly dodges a cross from Popham, but falls catching him in his guard. "DBA" lands a stiff elbow while on his back. Preston tries to pick up "DBA" for a powerbomb, but "DBA" releases his guard and ends up in stand up. "DBA" lands a quick elbow, cross that floors Preston. Popham is staggered by a jab to the chin. "DBA" narrowly dodges a cross from Popham, but falls catching him in his guard. "DBA" sets in an omaplata, forcing Preston to roll through, giving "DBA" side control. Preston gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Round 1 is finished.

Round 2
The fighters circle each other. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Preston Popham lands a knee to the chest of Cleto Romero, putting them both off balance and to the floor. A couple of hard outside strikes opens up Cleto Romeros guard and Popham is able to move to half guard. The round comes to an end.

Round 3
Romero connects with a series of punches forcing Popham into a clinch. Cleto places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Cleto hops up throwing his leg over Pophams arm. He locks a triangle choke, bringing Preston to the mat. Preston taps out.
