Round 1 Jackson takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Brett Brown narrowly dodges a cross from Jackson, but falls catching him in his guard. Brett Brown attempts an armbar. Jackson time a spin perfectly landing a strong overhand as he works his way into Bretts guard. Brett Brown gives up guard avoiding a powerful hammer fist. He now has half guard. Round 2 Brett Brown narrowly dodges a cross from Kurt Jackson, but falls catching him in his guard. An heel strike attempt is dodged by Kurt and he traps Brett Browns extended leg to move to half guard. Kurt Jackson tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. Kurt Jackson slips out of half guard and into side control. Brett Brown takes a few knees to the body while under Kurt Jacksons side control. Kurt slides his knee across the body of Brett and takes full mount. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Brett receives a couple of stiff short hooks in the clinch. Brett escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Kurt throws a cross that easily dodged by Brown. Brown snaps back the head of Kurt with a stiff jab. Brett Brown connects with a hard right hand putting Jackson on the mat. Brett Brown goes down with him into side control. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
