Round 1 The fighters circle each other. Clark lands a strong outside leg kick that buckles Aaron. Clark then switch kicks Aaron on the opposing rib. After dodging a jab-cross, Clark lands a kick to the liver of Aaron Smith who steps back and begins to take a knee. Clark rushes forward to capitalize but Aaron Smith stands back up and is met by a strong cross-uppercut that again backs him up. Cal Clark lands a strong outside leg kick that is returned by Smith. The fighters circle each other. Aaron parries a jab but is hit with a powerful knee to that midsection that drops him to the floor. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Aaron Smith keeps Cal Clark at a distance with some well timed jabs. The fighters circle each other. Cal throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. A few well timed strikes from Smith puts Cal on the mat giving his back up. Smith tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Clark starts to wiggle out of back control, Smith lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Cal Clark takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Cal is staggered by a jab to the chin. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 A jab from Smith is blocked and a cross is returned by "GC". After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Aaron drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Clark sets a guillotine choke but Aaron slips out at the last moment. Aaron is now caught in guard. Aaron takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Cals guard. It doesn't pay off as Cal Clark makes his way to standing. Aaron lands a jab, but it is returned by a sick uppercut from Cal Clark. Cal Clark circles Aaron Smith, mixing jabs and leg kicks. Aaron attempts to clinch, but "GC" connects with an uppercut to the jaw. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
