Round 1 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Corey Robinson gets double underhooks, and unleashes unanswered knees to the midsection. "DBA" attempts a takedown from the clinch, but Louie Ward pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. Robinson snaps back the head of Louie with a stiff jab. The fighters circle each other. Louie Ward takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Robinson takes down Louie, but remains standing over him. "DBA" drops a huge strike to Louies chin, landing into his guard. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Ward circles Corey Robinson, landing jabs at will. Corey Robinson is hit with a jab-cross and then brutally shoved to the ground. Louie falls into his guard, delivering a strong punch as he does so. Corey shifts his hips to get better position in the guard. A can opener from Ward opens up "DBAs" guard. Ward lands two quick strikes as he moves into half guard. Louie Ward tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. Louie Ward slams his knee into Coreys ribs. Louie Ward slips out of half guard and into side control. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 Louie Ward is staggered by a jab to the chin. Corey Robinson parries Louies jab and connect with a cross. "DBA" throws a cross that easily dodged by Ward. Louie Ward throws a cross that easily dodged by Robinson. Robinson is sent crashing to the mat by a powerful right hook. The round comes to an end.
