Round 1 Marc is cut open under the eye by a standing elbow strike. Marc Fernandez narrowly dodges a cross from Stan, but falls catching him in his guard. King drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. A kimura attempt is defended well by "Lee" and he is able to sneak his leg through Marcs loose guard, to half guard. "Lee" opens a cut over the eye of Marc Fernandez. The doctor takes a look at it, and says he's okay to continue. Stan King slips out of half guard and into side control. Marc gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Marc Fernandez starts to wiggle out of back control, King lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Stan King circles Marc, mixing jabs and leg kicks. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Marc is on the receiving end of a good punching combination from Stan. "Lee" sends Marc Fernandez to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Marc begins to work the rubber guard. Stan King presses the action while in the guard, but Marc Fernandez is able to switch him into mount. Stan shifts his head and hips to keep Fernandez off balance and unable to land strikes. Stan gets pummeled by the fists of Marc. Stan gives up his back in an attempt to escape, but doesn't quite make it. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 Stan unleashes a flurry of punches on Marc. After dodging a jab, Stan lands a kick to the ribs of Marc who winces in pain. Marc keeps Stan at a distance with some well timed jabs. Stan circles Fernandez, landing jabs and crosses at will. Marc lands a strong outside leg kick that is returned by King. Fernandez sends "Lee" to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard.Round 3 comes to a close.
