Round 1 Rob connects with a series of punches forcing Caron into a clinch. Rob Hayden stomps the feet of Drake. Drake Caron escapes the clinch and creates some distance. A jab from Rob is blocked and a cross is returned by Drake Caron. Drake Caron connects with a strong right hook. Drake Caron circles Hayden, mixing jabs and leg kicks. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 Rob fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Caron. Drake Caron attempts to grab the plum but is kept off balance by Robs strikes. Drake Caron escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Rob circles Caron, landing jabs at will. Rob ducks and weaves through a quick combo from Caron and knocks him back with a shovel punch to the jaw. Rob eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Drake. Rob Hayden connects with a right that puts Drake off balance tumbling to the mat, as Rob Hayden towers over him. Drake Caron thrusts his leg into Haydens knee while grounded. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Drake Caron works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Drake attempts a takedown from the clinch, but Rob pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. Drake Caron throws a kick to the midsection of Rob Hayden. Drake Caron snaps back the head of Rob with a stiff jab. Drake fakes a left cross, and follows up with a right head kick. Rob Hayden does not see it coming, and gets put down cold. This one is all over.
