Round 1 Brett keeps Aguilar at a distance with some well timed jabs. "The Brawler" throws a cross that easily dodged by Brett. "The Hitman" fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Aguilar. Julito Aguilar attempts a takedown from the clinch, but "The Hitman" pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. Brett catches a leg kick from Julito, and puts him on the mat. Brett takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in "The Brawlers" guard. It doesn't pay off as "The Brawler" makes his way to standing. "The Hitman" narrowly dodges a cross from Julito Aguilar, but falls catching him in his guard. "The Hitman" sets in an omaplata, forcing Aguilar to roll through, giving "The Hitman" side control. Aguilar takes a few knees to the body while under Brett Morgans side control. Brett slides his knee across the body of "The Brawler" and takes full mount. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 Julito is staggered by a jab to the chin. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Julito attempts to grab the plum but is tripped to the floor by Brett who lands in his guard. Morgan takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Julitos guard. It doesn't pay off as Julito Aguilar makes his way to standing. Brett narrowly dodges a cross from Aguilar, but falls catching him in his guard. Morgan connects with some unorthodox punches from the bottom position. "The Brawler" tries to pass guard but Morgan stops him with a well timed punch. Morgan attempts to create some space from his guard, but Julito Aguilar sees the opening and passes to full mount. Round 2 is over.
