Round 1 A jab from "The Golden Goal" is blocked and a cross is returned by "Poutine". Cox chips away at Couture with a series of kicks to the legs. After dodging a jab-cross, Josh lands a kick to the liver of Couture who steps back and begins to take a knee. Josh rushes forward to capitalize but Couture stands back up and is met by a strong cross-uppercut that again backs him up. Couture is staggered by a jab to the chin. Cox eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Steve Couture. Couture snaps back the head of "The Golden Goal" with a stiff jab. Cox sends Couture to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Cox lands a devastating overhand right on "Poutine". After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Couture drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Josh Cox sets a guillotine choke but Couture slips out at the last moment. Couture is now caught in guard. Couture backs out of the guard, and chooses to stand with his opponent, allowing him to his feet. Steve Couture eats a stiff kick to the face. The fighters circle each other. After dodging a jab-cross, Josh lands a kick to the liver of Couture who steps back and begins to take a knee. Round 3 Steve throws a cross that easily dodged by "The Golden Goal". Josh Cox lands a jab, but it is returned by a sick uppercut from "Poutine". Steve counters a jab with a stiff uppercut. Couture lands a left hook, only to follow up with a strong kick to the ribs. A powerful roundhouse kick to the head sends "Poutine" to the floor.Round 3 comes to a close.
