Round 1 Joaquim lands a strong outside leg kick but is hit with a heavy counter hook. Joaquim is on the receiving end of a good punching combination from Powell. "GC Spidey" is hit with a jab then a hook to the body and stumbles backward. Joaquim Cardoso tries to press the action but is met with a push kick from "GC Spidey" that puts him on the floor. Joaquim parries a jab but is hit with a powerful knee to that midsection that drops him to the floor. Sid dances around Joaquims legs and lands a powerful soccer kick to the head. Cardoso connects with a right that puts "GC Spidey" off balance tumbling to the mat, as Cardoso towers over him. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 Joaquim Cardoso eats a stiff kick to the face. Joaquim Cardoso attempts a striking combination, but Powell forces the clinch. "GC Spidey" receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Joaquim. An attempt at a clinch takedown from "GC Spidey" is defended well by Joaquim Cardoso. "GC Spidey" grabs an overhook, steps to the side to land two haymaker body shots, then an uppercut. "GC Spidey" returns to the clinch. Joaquim escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Cardoso fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Sid Powell. Round 3 Sid Powell circles Cardoso, mixing jabs and leg kicks. "GC Spidey" fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Joaquim. Sid places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Cardoso recieves a strong elbow opening up the clinch. "GC Spidey" grabs the plum and lands a strong elbow to the head of Cardoso. Sid lands a strong outside leg kick that buckles Joaquim Cardoso. The fighters circle each other. Round 3 is finished.
