Round 1 A single-leg attempt is well defended by Bernard. Nico stands up, lifting the leg of Bernard and executing a trip takedown. Ramos attempts to set in a hammer lock from being caught in the guard. "Inbred Hillbilly" slips out of it at the last moment. Nico Ramos takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in "Inbred Hillbillys" guard. It doesn't pay off as Duval makes his way to standing. Duval throws a cross that easily dodged by Nico Ramos. Duval circles "I Jumped the Boarder", mixing jabs with body shots. "I Jumped the Boarder" wraps around Bernards waist, and drags him to his back, taking side control Bernard almost switches side control around, but falls short at the last moment. "I Jumped the Boarder" slides his knee across the body of "Inbred Hillbilly" and takes full mount. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 Nico lands a strong outside leg kick but is hit with a heavy counter hook. Bernard eats a jab,jab, then a hook from "I Jumped the Boarder". Nico Ramos lands a strong outside leg kick but is hit with a heavy counter hook. After dodging a jab-cross, Duval lands a kick to the liver of Ramos who steps back and begins to take a knee. Duval rushes forward to capitalize but Ramos stands back up and is met by a strong cross-uppercut that again backs him up. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 "Inbred Hillbilly" sends Nico to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Bernard Duval drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Duval passes through Nicos guard into mount. Nico Ramos gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Bernard tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. "I Jumped the Boarder" starts to wiggle out of back control, Bernard Duval lets him escape putting them both on their feet. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. While tied up, "I Jumped the Boarder" is met with a hard uppercut. "I Jumped the Boarder" weaves through a jab-cross combo from Bernard but is met with a powerful uppercut that knocks him to the floor. Duval kicks at the thighs of Nico. Round 3 is finished.
