Round 1
After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Bruno Lima places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Bruno escapes the clinch and creates some distance. After dodging a jab, Bruno lands a kick to the ribs of Joao Teixeira who winces in pain. Lima throws a kick to the midsection of "Socrates". Lima circles Joao, mixing jabs and leg kicks. Round 1 comes to a close.

Round 2
Bruno is hit with a jab-cross and then brutally shoved to the ground. Joao falls into his guard, delivering a strong punch as he does so. A can opener from "Socrates" opens up Limas guard. "Socrates" lands two quick strikes as he moves into half guard. Joao is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Teixeira secures his position. Bruno gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Teixeira tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Joao Teixeira lands undefended strikes to the side of Brunos head. The ref stops the fight.
