Round 1 Race Turner dodges a jab and throws a knee to the midsection of "The Whole Damn Show". After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. A strong elbow forces Derrick to lose his balance and fall to the floor. Race lays into Youngs thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Derrick Young does so. The fighters circle each other. Race connects with a series of punches forcing "The Whole Damn Show" into a clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. An attempt at a clinch takedown from Race Turner is defended well by Young. Race Turner grabs an overhook, steps to the side to land two haymaker body shots, then an uppercut. Race Turner returns to the clinch. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 "The Whole Damn Show" eats a stiff kick to the face. After dodging a jab, Race Turner lands a kick to the ribs of Derrick Young who winces in pain. After dodging a jab-cross, Race Turner lands a kick to the liver of "The Whole Damn Show" who steps back and begins to take a knee. Race Turner rushes forward to capitalize but "The Whole Damn Show" stands back up and is met by a strong cross-uppercut that again backs him up. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 Race Turner lands a strong outside leg kick that is returned by "The Whole Damn Show". "The Whole Damn Show" weaves through a jab-cross combo but is met with a strong knee. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Derrick Young grabs the plum and pulls Turners face towards a powerful knee which is blocked. Derrick Young lets go of the hold and lands a hook. "The Whole Damn Show" throws a kick to the midsection that is caught by Turner. Turner lands a sweeping leg kick that puts "The Whole Damn Show" on his back. Turner drops a huge strike to Youngs chin, landing into his guard. Race forces Youngs leg down, giving him the chance to pass into side control. Race Turner lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Turner throws his knee into the ribs of Derrick. The round comes to an end.
