Round 2 Dexter Anderson circles Jose Rodriguez, landing jabs and crosses at will. Jose Rodriguez throws a cross that easily dodged by Dexter Anderson. Dexter Anderson connects with a strong right hook. Anderson ducks and weaves through a quick combo from Jose and knocks him back with a shovel punch to the jaw. Round 3 Dexter Anderson locks around the waist of Rodriguez. He sneaks his foot behind Rodriguezs and trips him to the floor, taking side control. Anderson attempts an armbar, but Rodriguez stops the attempt. Anderson uses the oppurtunity to take mount. Anderson secures his position. Dexter Anderson telegraphs his motions for an armbar, but Jose gives up his back to stop the attempt. Jose Rodriguez tries to explode out the backdoor but Dexter sinks in both hooks, continually landing outside strikes. Jose Rodriguez falls flat to protect himself. Jose starts to wiggle out of back control, Dexter lets him escape putting them both on their feet. The bell signals the end of round 3.
