Round 1 Masayoshi attempts a lazy shot, which Antonio Guzman sprawls, eventually taking Masayoshi back. Hashimoto tries to explode out the backdoor but Antonio Guzman sinks in both hooks, continually landing outside strikes. Hashimoto falls flat to protect himself. Masayoshi Hashimoto starts to wiggle out of back control, Antonio Guzman lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Masayoshi Hashimoto loses his balance from a well timed strike, and is awkwardly taken down by Antonio for the mistake. Antonio has side control. Antonio Guzman slides his knee across the body of Hashimoto and takes full mount. Antonio maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Hashimoto attempts to escape mount but has no luck. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Antonio Guzman is staggered by a jab to the chin. Guzman takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Masayoshi Hashimoto fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Guzman. Hashimoto escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Hashimoto fakes a shot and lunges forward pressing Antonio to a corner. Antonio swims for underhooks but is taken down in the process. Masayoshi takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Guzmans guard. It doesn't pay off as Guzman makes his way to standing. Hashimoto narrowly dodges a cross from Guzman, but falls catching him in his guard. Masayoshi Hashimoto sets in an omaplata, forcing Guzman to roll through, giving Masayoshi Hashimoto side control. Masayoshi Hashimoto throws his knee into the ribs of Antonio Guzman. Antonio gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 The fighters circle each other. Antonio connects with a hard right hand putting Masayoshi Hashimoto on the mat. Antonio goes down with him into side control. Guzman lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Masayoshi gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Masayoshi carefully protects himself from Guzmans strikes. Masayoshi rolls through, putting Antonio Guzman into his guard. Round 3 is finished.
