Round 1
Beto is staggered by a jab to the chin. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Yamato is in the clinch with Huerta, and changes levels for a beautiful double leg takedown. Huerta backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. Huerta connects with a strong right hook. "Back In Black" counters a jab with a stiff uppercut. Makoto attempts a takedown, but cannot finish it. "Back In Black" takes advantage of the moment taking side control. Round 1 is finished.

Round 2
After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Makoto Yamato works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Beto escapes the clinch and creates some distance. "Back In Black" throws a cross that easily dodged by Makoto Yamato. Yamato takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Beto circles Yamato, mixing jabs and leg kicks. The bell signals the end of round 2.

Round 3
Makoto Yamato snaps back the head of Beto Huerta with a stiff jab. Makoto Yamato lands a jab, but it is returned by a sick uppercut from Beto. Beto Huerta is staggered by a jab to the chin. Huerta counters a jab with a stiff uppercut. Huerta lands a hook to the body then a straight cross to the sternum. Makoto is staggered by a jab to the chin. After dodging a jab, Beto Huerta lands a kick to the ribs of Yamato who winces in pain. Round 3 is finished.

Round 4
"Back In Black" lands a solid kick to the front leg of Makoto Yamato. Makoto Yamato fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Beto Huerta. Beto Huerta works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Makoto Yamato receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Beto. "Back In Black" escapes the clinch and creates some distance. After dodging a jab-cross, Beto lands a kick to the liver of Makoto Yamato who steps back and begins to take a knee. Beto rushes forward to capitalize but Makoto Yamato stands back up and is met by a strong cross-uppercut that again backs him up. A jab from Yamato is blocked and a cross is returned by Beto Huerta. Makoto Yamato eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Beto Huerta. Makoto Yamato arm drags Huerta into a double leg takedown, getting half guard. Round 4 comes to a close.

Round 5
After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Beto places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Beto Huerta attempts a takedown from the clinch, but Makoto pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. Makoto attempts to clinch, but "Back In Black" connects with an uppercut to the jaw. Makoto Yamato throws a powerful left hook, but is met with a strong jab from Huerta. Huerta counters a jab with a stiff uppercut. Round 5 comes to a close.
