Round 1 Mark keeps Silva at a distance with some well timed jabs. A shot catches Nico Silva off balance and off guard. Mark Payne spears him but can only manage to make it to guard. Mark dodges a few strikes from "The Phreako" and cuts him open with a couple of powerful elbows. Nico attempts to transition to the butterfly guard but Mark is too quick and takes half guard. Mark Payne tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. "Sir Ilyin" tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. "Sir Ilyin" slips out of half guard and into side control. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Nico Silva sends Mark Payne to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Nico Silva tries to pass guard but Mark Payne stops him with a well timed punch. Mark attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. Mark attempts a lazy shot, which Silva sprawls, eventually taking Mark back. Nico slides off to the side of Mark and lands several heavy knees into his ribs. Before he can lose the position, Nico switches back to full back control. "The Phreako" lands a series of heavy punches forcing Mark Payne to roll to his back, giving "The Phreako" mount. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 Nico Silva plows through Payne with a driving double leg takedown. "Sir Ilyin" is pummeled by some well timed bombs from "The Phreako". Payne backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. Mark Payne gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. Mark Payne tries to explode out the backdoor but Nico sinks in both hooks, continually landing outside strikes. Mark Payne falls flat to protect himself. Nico peppers Payne with several shots to the face. The round comes to an end.
Round 4 Mark catches a leg kick from "The Phreako", and puts him on the mat. Nico Silva is pummeled by some well timed bombs from Mark. "The Phreako" attempts a sloppy triangle attempt allowing "Sir Ilyin" the chance to pass to side control. Nico Silva takes a few knees to the body while under "Sir Ilyins" side control. "Sir Ilyin" slides his knee across the body of "The Phreako" and takes full mount. Nico Silva attempts to escape mount but has no luck. Mark secures his position. Round 4 is over.
Round 5 "Sir Ilyin" catches a leg kick from "The Phreako", and puts him on the mat. "Sir Ilyin" drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Nico Silva backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. Mark ducks under a loopy hoop, taking "The Phreako" to the mat, and his back. Mark Payne peppers Nico with several shots to the face. Mark attempts to lock in a rear naked choke, but "The Phreako" rolls into to mount to cleverly avoid it. The bell signals the end of round 5.
