Round 1 Ihara eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Abe Weber. Abe throws a teep backing Mitsuo Ihara off. Mitsuo Ihara throws a few jabs at Abe that miss the mark. Weber tries to hyperextend the knee of Ihara with a kick to the kneecap. Ihara hops back to avoid it. "Whirlwind" hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Ihara. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Two quick punches opens up Abe Weber for a takedown. Mitsuo pushes in and executes a forward foot sweep that puts Abe Weber on his back. Mitsuo falls into side control. Mitsuo Ihara attempts to mount, but gets a few punches from Abe for his troubles. Weber gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. "Whirlwind" starts to wiggle out of back control, Ihara lets him escape putting them both on their feet. A double-leg shot is stuffed initially by "Whirlwind" but Mitsuo Ihara is able to muscle through for a takedown, finishing in half guard. Ihara is able to slip into mount from the half guard. "Whirlwind" gives his back up trying to escape the mount. "Whirlwind" slips out the back leading to both fighters standing up. "Whirlwind" connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Mitsuo Ihara. Weber loses his balance from a well timed strike, and is awkwardly taken down by Mitsuo Ihara for the mistake. Mitsuo Ihara has side control. Weber gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Mitsuo parries a jab but is caught by a strong leg kick. Abe rushes forward landing a quick succession of leg, body and head kicks sends Mitsuo Ihara back into the cage dizzied. "Whirlwind" connects with a strong body shot combo. A welt begins to form under Abe Webers eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Mitsuo. Abe Weber lands a hook to the body. Weber strikes with a straight front kick. Ihara eats a stiff kick to the face. The round comes to an end.
