Round 1 Bingwen Wu throws a few jabs at Peterson that miss the mark. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. "Snake Eyes" works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Reggie attempts a knee but is taken down by a basic trip. Bingwen Wu lands in half guard. Wu tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. Reggie Peterson tries to scramble out of half guard, but Bingwen Wu takes his back during it. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Reggie dodges a jab and lands a kick to the face of Bingwen Wu. Bingwen ducks under a loopy hoop, taking Reggie to the mat, and his back. Peterson carefully protects himself from Wus strikes. Reggie Peterson slips out the back leading to both fighters standing up. Bingwen Wu throws a few jabs at Reggie that miss the mark. Reggie Peterson lands a left hook, only to follow up with a strong kick to the ribs. "Snake Eyes" snaps back the head of Wu with a stiff jab. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Peterson hits an uppercut to the head of Bingwen followed by a hard hook. Wu connects with a hard punch making Reggie bring him in to a tight clinch. Bingwen is jockeying for position in the clinch. Peterson works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Wu works to Reggie Petersons back while standing. Wu throws a couple of outside shots until Peterson is able to work his way back to the clinch. A hip toss puts Peterson under Wus side control. Round 3 is finished.
