Round 1 A couple of powerful body shots forces Mccoy back to the cage. Teixeira swims to double underhooks. Mccoy cannot stop Teixeira from stepping back and taking him to the floor. Octavio Teixeira takes advantage of a mental laps from Sean Mccoy and moves into full mount. Sean Mccoy gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Sean starts to wiggle out of back control, Octavio lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Mccoy is hit with a jab and then taken down with a strong trip takedown. Octavio Teixeira passes through "Ham and Cheese Loafs" guard into mount. Octavio telegraphs his motions for an armbar, but Sean Mccoy gives up his back to stop the attempt. Teixeira tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Octavio begins to look for a rear naked choke, but Mccoy rolls to being mounted instead. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Both fighters begin to exchange Octavio Teixeira catches "Ham and Cheese Loaf" with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets "Ham and Cheese Loaf" gather himself. "Ham and Cheese Loaf" says he is ok and the fight continues. Sean Mccoy connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Teixeira. Octavio snaps back the head of Mccoy with a stiff jab. Octavio Teixeira hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. Octavio circles Sean Mccoy, mixing jabs and leg kicks. Sean Mccoy is hit with a jab and then taken down with a strong trip takedown. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 Sean attempts a takedown, but Octavio Teixeira clumsily falls down without much provocation. Sean attempts to drop a fist on Octavio Teixeira, but misses and lands in his guard. Octavio begins to posture on his side. Sean Mccoy lands a couple of outside hooks and Octavio returns to the guard. Octavio attempts a few a shots from the guard, but gets mounted for his troubles. Octavio pulls Mccoy close to avoid a flurry of strikes. Octavio Teixeira gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Mccoy lays into Teixeira with some strong shots forcing Teixeira to give up mount position. Mccoy is pulled in tight, and then switched over on his back. Octavio Teixeira is now caught in Sean Mccoys guard. Round 3 is over.
