Round 1 Ashton Lavoie hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. Ashton Lavoie connects with a strong right hook. Round 3 Lavoie hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. Yevgeni narrowly dodges a cross from Ashton Lavoie, but falls catching him in his guard. Yevgeni begins to posture on his side. Ashton Lavoie lands a couple of outside hooks and Yevgeni returns to the guard. An heel strike attempt is dodged by Ashton Lavoie and he traps Belovs extended leg to move to half guard. Yevgeni tries to slip his leg out to get full guard, but is having difficulty. Ashton presses his foot onto the thigh of Yevgeni Belov to get his own foot free. He successfully releases his leg and moves to side control. Belov gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Yevgeni starts to wiggle out of back control, Ashton Lavoie lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Ashton Lavoie is hit with a jab but is able to slip a cross and grab a arm-triangle in standing. Ashton Lavoie trips Yevgeni Belov to the floor, landing in side control. Round 3 comes to a close.
