Round 1
Henrique Lima hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Eduardo. Eduardo lands a hook to the body then a straight cross to the sternum. Vasquez gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. Eduardo Vasquez tries to explode out the backdoor but "The Llama" sinks in both hooks, continually landing outside strikes. Eduardo Vasquez falls flat to protect himself. Eduardo Vasquez is able to make it back to the standing position. Henrique Lima connects with numerous jabs to the face of Eduardo Vasquez. "The Llama" stuff a shot from Vasquez and lands several shots to the body. Vasquez attempts to pull guard but "The Llama" pushes his way to half guard. The round comes to an end.

Round 2
"The Llama" connects with a right that puts Eduardo Vasquez off balance tumbling to the mat, as "The Llama" towers over him. Lima stands over Eduardo, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Eduardo is able to grab an arm and pull Lima into his guard. Eduardo shifts his hips to get better position in the guard. "The Llama" takes advantage of a mental laps from Vasquez and moves into full mount. Eduardo Vasquez shifts his head and hips to keep Lima off balance and unable to land strikes. Eduardo gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Henrique Lima attempts to lock in a rear naked choke, but Eduardo rolls into to mount to cleverly avoid it. Henrique Lima splits Eduardo Vasquezs nose open with a well timed punch. Round 2 is over.

Round 3
Henrique connects with jab cross combination. Eduardo is hit with a jab and then taken down by a beautiful single-leg takedown. Eduardo Vasquez fires elbows off his back to the top of the head of "The Llama". A kimura attempt from Eduardo is countered by a punch from Henrique Lima, who then transitions to half guard. Eduardo holds the head of "The Llama" close to avoid shots. "The Llama" slams shots to his opponents ribs and throws hard elbows to the thighs. Lima wraps the arm of Vasquez behind his back and traps it. Lima pounds away with shots to the face. Eduardo Vasquez pulls the foot in of Henrique using leverage to sweep him into side control. The bell signals the end of round 3.
