Round 1 Nice Kanda circles Day, mixing jabs and leg kicks. Nice Kanda connects with numerous jabs to the face of Day. Kanda strikes with a straight front kick. Butch Day attempts to clinch, but Nice Kanda connects with an uppercut to the jaw. Butch Day takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Kanda throws a cross that easily dodged by Day. Day eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Nice. Day connects with a jab cross combination. Kanda hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. Day lands a jab, but it is returned by a sick uppercut from Nice Kanda. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Nice Kanda is cornered by Butch who tries to press the action. Nice Kanda is able to block well and circles away from Butch, delivering a chopping leg kick and a grazing cross as he does so. Nice Kanda connects with a hard punch making Butch Day bring him in to a tight clinch. Butch drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Nice Kanda sets a guillotine choke but Butch slips out at the last moment. Butch is now caught in guard. Nice Kanda backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. A jab from Butch Day is blocked and a cross is returned by Kanda. The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Kanda keeps Butch at a distance with some well timed jabs. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Day dives in for a takedown but the momentum of the attempt ends in a scramble back to their feet. Day hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Nice. Day executes a single leg giving him the back of Nice Kanda. Day attempts to lock in a rear naked choke, but Kanda rolls into to mount to cleverly avoid it. Day secures his position. Nice is hit with multiple punches, and taps out.
