Round 1 Cosmas takes down Claude Roberts, but remains standing over him. Athanas stands over Claude, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Claude is able to grab an arm and pull Athanas into his guard. While caught in the guard, Cosmas opens up a cut on Roberts with a devestating elbow. Athanas takes advantage of a mental laps from "The Leftovers" and moves into full mount. Athanas secures his position. Cosmas Athanas telegraphs his motions for an armbar, but Claude Roberts gives up his back to stop the attempt. Athanas lands a series of heavy punches forcing "The Leftovers" to roll to his back, giving Athanas mount. Cosmas punishes "The Leftovers" with a series of strikes from the mount. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 Claude hits an uppercut to the head of Cosmas followed by a hard hook. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Cosmas Athanas executes a single leg giving him the back of Claude. Giving up his back, Roberts panics and gives up mount instead. Athanas throws some outside strikes at Claude. Athanas maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Claude Roberts is hit with a jab and then taken down by a beautiful single-leg takedown. Claude attempts an armbar from the bottom, but Cosmas slips out at the last moment. Roberts attempts an omoplata and almost has it sunk but Cosmas is able to survive any major damage. Roberts cannot finish the hold and decides to stand up. "The Leftovers" hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. "The Leftovers" throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Cosmas is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. A shot from Cosmas is countered by a guillotine from Claude. Cosmas follows through with a slam, landing in side mount, nullifying the choke. Claude Roberts almost switches side control around, but falls short at the last moment. Cosmas Athanas slides his knee across the body of Claude and takes full mount. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
