Round 1 Both fighters begin to exchange "The Wall Installer" catches Andre with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Andre gather himself. Andre says he is ok and the fight continues. Akmal Rachman stuffs a shot from Andre Artigas and hits him with a hard hook to the temple and pushes him to take his guard. Andre Artigas attempts a kimura from the bottom. Akmal blocks the attempt and smothers Andre Artigas to force him to let go of "The Wall Installers" arm. Andre starts to create some distance with his legs, "The Wall Installer" capitalizes by passing to side control. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 Andre Artigas plows through Akmal with a driving double leg takedown. Andre attempts to set in a hammer lock from being caught in the guard. Rachman slips out of it at the last moment. Akmal Rachman starts to create some distance with his legs, Andre capitalizes by passing to side control. Artigas wraps the arm of Rachman behind his back and traps it. Artigas pounds away with shots to the face. Andre slides his knee across the body of Akmal Rachman and takes full mount. "The Wall Installer" attempts to buck Artigas off from mount but Artigas keeps his base and maintains position. Artigas executes a double hand slap to the ears of Rachman. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 "The Wall Installer" takes down Artigas, but remains standing over him. Akmal drops a huge strike to Andres chin, landing into his guard. Andre attempts a kimura from the bottom. Akmal blocks the attempt and smothers Andre to force him to let go of Akmal Rachmans arm. "The Wall Installer" attempts to pass Andres guard, and does so, but receives multiple strikes in the attempt. "The Wall Installer" lands a double punch to the head of Andre Artigas. Andre Artigas gets pummeled by the fists of Rachman. Andre Artigas gives up his back in an attempt to escape, but doesn't quite make it. Rachman attempts to lock in a rear naked choke, but Andre rolls into to mount to cleverly avoid it. Akmal lands a double punch to the head of Andre. The round comes to an end.
Round 4 "The Wall Installer" connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Artigas is staggered by a jab to the chin. Rachman reaches down and trips Andre Artigas with a beautiful ankle pick. Rachman dives into back control. Rachman begins to look for a rear naked choke, but Artigas rolls to being mounted instead. Andre Artigas lands a good elbow as "The Wall Installer" lowers his torso. Andre Artigas pulls Akmal close to avoid a flurry of strikes.Round 4 comes to a close.
Round 5 Rachman executes a beautiful double leg takedown, putting Artigas to the mat, and Rachman into side control. Akmal slides his knee across the body of Artigas and takes full mount. Artigas lands a good elbow as "The Wall Installer" lowers his torso. Andre Artigas gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Artigas tries to explode out the backdoor but "The Wall Installer" sinks in both hooks, continually landing outside strikes. Artigas falls flat to protect himself. Akmal Rachman lays into Andre Artigas with some strong shots forcing Andre Artigas to give up mount position. Round 5 comes to a close.
