Round 1 The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Shawn Perry connects with a brutal kick to the liver of Chongan who falls to the ground. Shawn Perry waves him back to his feet. Perry blocks a strong high kick from Long and counters with a devastating left hook. Perry winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Long parries a jab but leaves himself open for a uppercut that sends him to the canvas. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Chongan parries a jab but leaves himself open for a hard cross that sends him to the canvas. Shawn follows with a falling punch into Chongans guard. Shawn drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Shawn takes advantage of a mental laps from Chongan and moves into full mount. Long gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Shawn Perry tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Chongan starts to wiggle out of back control, Perry lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Chongan Long attempts a striking combination, but Shawn Perry forces the clinch. Perry works to Chongans back while standing. Perry throws a couple of outside shots until Chongan Long is able to work his way back to the clinch. Shawn escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Shawn Perry connects with a right that puts Long off balance tumbling to the mat, as Shawn Perry towers over him. "Scary" lays into Chongans thighs with some well timed kicks while Chongan Long is grounded. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Perry winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Perry parries Chongan Longs jab and connect with a cross. Chongan keeps Shawn at a distance with some well timed jabs. Perry hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Round 3 comes to a close.
