Round 1 Gage lands a double jab. A shot catches Antwan Denton off balance and off guard. Gage Morrison spears him but can only manage to make it to guard. Gage tries to move to half guard but Antwan uses the opportunity to land several strikes and return to full guard. A can opener from Gage Morrison opens up Antwan Dentons guard. Gage Morrison lands two quick strikes as he moves into half guard. Morrison slams his knee into Antwans ribs. Antwan Denton tries to slip his leg out to get full guard, but is having difficulty. Antwan Denton attempt to sit up and push into his opponent but Gage has a strong underhook and pushes back. Antwan Denton uses the momentum to sweep Gage into side control. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 Denton connects with a series of punches forcing Gage Morrison into a clinch. Gage receives a couple of stiff short hooks in the clinch. Morrison attempts a takedown from the clinch, but Antwan Denton pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. Both fighters begin to exchange Antwan Denton catches Gage Morrison with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Gage Morrison gather himself. Gage Morrison says he is ok and the fight continues. Gage Morrison hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. Morrison throws a push kick. Antwan Denton shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Gage Morrisons nose.
Morrison attempts a takedown but slips, and Denton backs away. Denton is standing over Morrison. Denton drops a huge strike to Morrisons chin, landing into his guard. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Antwan Denton hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. A sloppy scooping ankle block is pulled of by Antwan. Morrison is able to pull him into his guard. Morrison dodges some ground strikes from Antwan, and sends a few back of his own. Morrison attempts to lock in an armbar from the guard. Antwan narrowly avoids it, but allows for Morrison to take mount. Morrison splits Antwan Dentons nose open with a well timed punch. Gage Morrison executes a double hand slap to the ears of Antwan Denton. The bell signals the end of round 3.
