Round 1 Denton stuffs a shot from Gharibian and lands some powerful outside hammerfists, eventually taking side mount. Antwan Denton slides his knee across the body of Gharibian and takes full mount. Eduard Gharibian shifts his head and hips to keep Denton off balance and unable to land strikes. Eduard Gharibian gets pummeled by the fists of Antwan Denton. Eduard Gharibian gives up his back in an attempt to escape, but doesn't quite make it. Antwan peppers Gharibian with several shots to the face. Antwan Denton lays into Eduard Gharibian with some strong shots forcing Eduard Gharibian to give up mount position. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 Antwan Denton hits an uppercut to the head of Eduard followed by a hard hook. Eduard fakes a shot and lunges forward pressing Antwan to the cage. Antwan swims for underhooks but is taken down in the process. Denton tries for a kimura from the bottom. "the Greconator" uses his free hand to connect with several punches and Denton is forced to give up on the kimura. Antwan gives up guard avoiding a powerful hammer fist. He now has half guard. Antwan Denton tries to slip his leg out to get full guard, but is having difficulty. "the Greconator" tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. Denton positions himself back into full guard. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 Eduard fires a haymaker but misses spinning himself around. Antwan Denton quickly takes his back. Denton slides off to the side of Gharibian and lands several heavy knees into his ribs. Before he can lose the position, Denton switches back to full back control. Eduard starts to wiggle out of back control, Antwan Denton lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Denton shoots in for a double leg, hoists Eduard up, and slams him viciously to the mat, taking side control. Antwan slides his knee across the body of Eduard Gharibian and takes full mount. Antwan secures his position. Eduard attempts to buck Antwan Denton off from mount but Antwan Denton keeps his base and maintains position. Round 3 is over.
