Round 1
James Farmer connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Alvarez. Alvarez feints and follows up with a hard cross. James Farmer stalks forward paws away with a couple jabs missing the mark. Alvarez connects with 1-2 jab hook combo and quickly steps away. James connects with a hard jab as Javi Alvarez attempts a wide outside hook. Alvarez lands a hook to the body then a straight cross to the sternum. Javi keeps James at a distance with some well timed jabs. The bell signals the end of round 1.

Round 2
Javi connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Javi eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Farmer. "Bob and Throb" opens up on Alvarez with frequent peppering strikes. The fighters circle each other. Javi Alvarez connects with a strong body shot combo. Farmer connects with 1-2 jab hook combo and quickly steps away. Javi hunts down his opponent and throws 2 heavy haymakers that get nothing but air. Javi Alvarez is dizzied on his feet from a furious punching sequence from "Bob and Throb". The round comes to an end.

Round 3
James lands a jab, but it is returned by a sick uppercut from Javi. Both fighters begin to exchange James Farmer catches Alvarez with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Alvarez gather himself. Alvarez says he is ok and the fight continues. Javi dodges a series of strikes from James Farmer and counters with a body shot and cross. Javi then backs up and wags a finger at James Farmer. Alvarez connects with a brutal kick to the liver of Farmer who falls to the ground. Alvarez waves him back to his feet. Javi Alvarez throws a teep backing Farmer off. Alvarez throws a cross that easily dodged by James Farmer. The bell signals the end of round 3.
