Round 1 After dodging a jab-cross, Gerhart Cherry lands a kick to the liver of Castillo who steps back and begins to take a knee. Gerhart Cherry rushes forward to capitalize but Castillo stands back up and is met by a strong cross-uppercut that again backs him up. Cherry moves in to press the action, but Augusto lands a heavy back kick. Augusto throws a cross that easily dodged by "The Jerk". Cherry lands a solid kick to the front leg of Castillo. Castillo throws a few jabs at Gerhart Cherry that miss the mark. Cherry connects with a hard jab as Augusto attempts a wide outside hook. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Augusto keeps Gerhart at a distance with some well timed jabs. Augusto is cornered by Gerhart Cherry who tries to press the action. Augusto is able to block well and circles away from Gerhart Cherry, delivering a chopping leg kick and a grazing cross as he does so. Augusto Castillo connects with jab cross combination. Gerhart Cherry hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. Gerhart weaves through a jab-cross combo from Augusto but is met with a powerful shot to the ribs that knocks the wind out of him. Augusto throws an uppercut, then a cross that knocks Gerhart out.
