Round 1 Aarle feints and follows up with a hard cross. Shelton Clark stalks forward paws away with a couple jabs missing the mark. Aarle connects with a hard right hand putting Clark on the mat. Aarle goes down with him into side control. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Shelton Clark parries Cooss jab and lands an uppercut. Shelton connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Coos Aarle throws a push kick. Shelton Clark shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Coos Aarles nose.
Clark traps Coos in the cage, landing a few strong punches to the face and body. Clark blocks a hook cross combo but is pushed backward. Coos Aarle tries to press the action but is met with a hook, uppercut that keeps him at bay. Both fighters move in to strike but miss their marks. As they jockey for position in the clinch Shelton wins the momentum battle and falls into side control on top of Coos. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 Shelton connects with a hard punch making Coos bring him in to a tight clinch. Aarle places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Coos Aarle fakes a shot attempt from the clinch, opening Shelton up for a flurry of hooks. As Shelton Clark presses forward Coos Aarle throws a wild spinning backfist that hits Shelton Clark flush. Clarks legs are wobbled by a strong hook to the temple then a shovel punch to the jaw. The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Aarle connects with a right that puts Shelton Clark off balance tumbling to the mat, as Aarle towers over him. Aarle kicks at the legs of Shelton and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Shelton to stand. The bell signals the end of round 3.
