Round 1 Stewart presses forward, grabbing the plum and lands a strong hook, buckling Jones to the mat. Stewart stands back and waves Jones up. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. "Taxi Driver" places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Stewart attempts to grab the plum but is tripped to the floor by Jones Rhodes who lands in his guard. Rogers gives up guard avoiding a powerful hammer fist. He now has half guard. Stewart Rogers is able to work a leg through from the bottom to attain full guard. Rhodes drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Stewart backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. Rhodes takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. "Taxi Driver" is hit with a jab and taken down with a strong trip takedown. Rogers is able to push to half guard. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 Stewart is hit with two hard punches to his face. Stewart laughs off the punches. "Taxi Driver" is on the receiving end of a good punching combination from Stewart. Rhodes tries to hyperextend the knee of Stewart Rogers with a kick to the kneecap. Stewart Rogers hops back to avoid it. The fighters circle each other. Stewart connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Rogers is hit with a jab then a hook to the body and stumbles backward. Jones tries to press the action but is met with a push kick from Rogers that puts him on the floor.Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Jones Rhodes connects with a hard right hand putting Stewart on the mat. Jones Rhodes goes down with him into side control. Jones attempts an armbar, but Stewart Rogers stops the attempt. Jones uses the oppurtunity to take mount. "Taxi Driver" punishes Rogers with a series of strikes from the mount. Stewart gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Stewart Rogers carefully protects himself from Jones Rhodess strikes. Stewart Rogers eats a few stiff shots from Jones Rhodes, and rolls giving mount to stop the ref from ending the fight.Round 3 comes to a close.
