Round 1 Ingram connects with a hard right hand putting "The Fraudulent Beast" on the mat. Ingram goes down with him into side control. Chuck Ingram slides his knee across the body of Castro and takes full mount. Chuck maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Castro gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Chuck Ingram peppers Castro with several shots to the face. "The Fraudulent Beast" starts to wiggle out of back control, Chuck Ingram lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Chuck takes the back of Mauro Castro who works for a kimura. Chuck pulls his arm out of the hold and push Mauro Castro away. Mauro Castro presses forward and grazes Chuck with a combo. Chuck wants none of the stand up and clinches with Mauro Castro to then savagely throw him down to the ground. Ingram stands over Mauro Castro, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Mauro Castro is able to grab an arm and pull Ingram into his guard. Mauro attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. A couple of powerful body shots forces Castro back to the cage. Ingram swims to double underhooks. Castro cannot stop Ingram from stepping back and taking him to the floor. Castro dodges some ground strikes from Chuck, and sends a few back of his own. Castro attempts to create some space from his guard, but Ingram sees the opening and passes to full mount. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Mauro Castro lands a devastating overhand right on Chuck Ingram. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Chuck Ingram drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. "The Fraudulent Beast" sets a guillotine choke but Chuck Ingram slips out at the last moment. Chuck Ingram is now caught in guard. "The Fraudulent Beast" attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. "The Fraudulent Beast" connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Chuck Ingram. "The Fraudulent Beast" peppers Ingram with a flurry of punches that cannot be kept up with. Chuck Ingram throws a hard jab but Mauro Castro throws a cross right over the top that knocks Chuck Ingram to the ground. The bell signals the end of round 3.
