Round 1 Requiao attempts a striking combination, but Lara forces the clinch. Enrique works to Santiago Requiaos back while standing. Enrique throws a couple of outside shots until Santiago Requiao is able to work his way back to the clinch. While tied up, Santiago Requiao is met with a hard uppercut. "Maidana" throws a hard leg kick but is checked by Santiago. Requiao lands a strong outside leg kick but is hit with a strong uppercut. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Enrique Lara blocks a hook cross combo but is pushed backward. Requiao tries to press the action but is met with a jab-cross then an uppercut that puts him to on the floor. Enrique Lara drops a huge strike to Santiagos chin, landing into his guard. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Santiago hits an uppercut to the head of Lara followed by a hard hook. "Maidana" connects with a strong right hook. "Maidana" snaps back the head of Requiao with a stiff jab. "Maidana" is cut open by a standing elbow strike. The ref stops the fight. The doctor take a look at the cut and determines "Maidana" can continue. Enrique is staggered by a jab to the chin. Santiago Requiao connects with a hard jab as "Maidana" attempts a wide outside hook. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 Lara lands a devastating overhand right on Requiao. The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Requiao traps Enrique in the cage, landing a few strong punches to the face and body. Enrique circles Santiago Requiao, landing jabs and crosses at will. Enrique Lara fires a haymaker but misses spinning himself around. Santiago quickly takes his back. The bell signals the end of round 3.
