Round 1
JC Peterson circles Assis, landing jabs and crosses at will. JC looks to press the action with a flurry of punches but Assis lands a strong lead-leg kick and circles away. Belfort blocks a hook cross combo but is pushed backward. JC Peterson tries to press the action but is met with a jab-cross then an uppercut that puts him to on the floor. Belfort lays into JC Petersons thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. JC does so. "Thicker Than Oatmeal" parries JC Petersons jab and connect with a cross that floors JC Peterson. "Thicker Than Oatmeal" dances around JCs legs and lands a powerful soccer kick to the head. "Thicker Than Oatmeal" lays into Petersons thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Peterson does so. "Thicker Than Oatmeal" lands a standing elbow. JC grazes him with a jab-cross but "Thicker Than Oatmeal" counters with another elbow attack. JC has a small gash under his eye. A running flurry from JC is countered by a well-timed shovel punch from Assis Belfort. Assis Belfort follows up with a powerful kick to the midsection. Round 1 is finished.

Round 2
Belfort dodges a series of strikes from JC and counters with a body shot and cross. Belfort then backs up and wags a finger at JC. JC hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. JC throws a push kick. Belfort shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into JCs nose. "Thicker Than Oatmeal" narrowly dodges a cross from Peterson, but falls catching him in his guard. Round 2 is over.

Round 3
JC Peterson connects with a jab cross combination. Assis connects with jab cross combination. Peterson throws a hard jab but Assis Belfort throws a cross right over the top that knocks Peterson to the ground. Assis Belfort kicks at the legs of JC Peterson and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells JC Peterson to stand. JC is sent crashing to the mat by a powerful right hook. A solid kick bruises the leg of JC. "Thicker Than Oatmeal" lays into JCs thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. JC does so. JC Peterson throws a leg kick. Assis shin checks the kick. He then leaps up to land a crushing knee strike to the chin of JC Peterson. JC Peterson stumbles back. JC parries a jab but leaves himself open for a hard cross. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
