Round 1 Rimsa keeps Grant Combs at a distance with some well timed jabs. Karolis presses forward and is able to jump up and grab onto Combs, aggressively pulling guard. Rimsa starts to lock a triangle. Grant postures up and Grant settles for a few stiff chops to Rimsas face. Grant Combs presses the action while in the guard, but Karolis Rimsa is able to switch him into mount. Grant attempts to escape mount but has no luck. Rimsa punishes Grant with a series of strikes from the mount. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Grant connects with a hard punch making Rimsa bring him in to a tight clinch. Rimsa works Combs into the cage from the clinch. Rimsa presses his head under Grants chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Grant takes Rimsas back standing, but Karolis isolates an arm and locks a spinning kimura but Grant squirms out and both fighters end up standing. Karolis dives in for a takedown but the momentum of the attempt ends in a scramble back to their feet. The fighters circle each other. Rimsa hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. Karolis takes down Grant, but remains standing over him. Karolis drops a powerful fist onto Grant. Grant Combss eyes roll back into his head, and this fight is over.
