Round 1
Jim Douglas parries Jay Kims jab and lands a liver shot. Jim Douglas gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. Jim carefully protects himself from Kims strikes. Jim Douglas is able to make it back to the standing position. Jim connects with numerous jabs to the face of Jay Kim. Both fighters begin to exchange Jim Douglas catches Jay with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Jay gather himself. Jay says he is ok and the fight continues. "Kumite" hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Jay. Round 1 comes to a close.

Round 2
After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Douglas works to Jays back while standing. Douglas throws a couple of outside shots until "Kumite BAE" is able to work his way back to the clinch. "Kumite" takes the back of Jay who works for a kimura. "Kumite" pulls his arm out of the hold and push Jay away. Jay takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Jay lands a strong outside leg kick that is returned by Douglas. Jim Douglas connects with 1-2 jab hook combo and quickly steps away. "Kumite BAE" hunts down his opponent and throws 2 heavy haymakers that get nothing but air. A lazy leg kick from Jay Kim is caught by "Kumite" who lands a huge overhand right, flooring Jay Kim. Douglas stands over Jay Kim, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Jay Kim is able to grab an arm and pull Douglas into his guard. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.

Round 3
The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Jay Kim locks in a tight muay thai clinch and lands several knees to the ribs of "Kumite". "Kumite" drops down and thrusts forward with a textbook double leg takedown. "Kumite" backs out of the guard, and chooses to stand with his opponent, allowing him to his feet. Jay connects with a series of punches forcing Jim Douglas into a clinch. Douglas dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Kim standing over him. Jay Kim lays into Douglass thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Douglas does so. The round comes to an end.
