Round 1
The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. "Kumite" throws a few jabs at Assis Belfort that miss the mark. "Thicker Than Oatmeal" connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Belfort lands a hook to the body then a straight cross to the sternum. Round 1 comes to a close.

Round 2
Jim Douglas winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. "Thicker Than Oatmeal" fires a haymaker but misses spinning himself around. "Kumite" quickly takes his back. Belfort carefully protects himself from Jims strikes. Assis slips out the back leading to both fighters standing up. "Thicker Than Oatmeal" connects with 1-2 jab hook combo and quickly steps away. "Kumite" hunts down his opponent and throws 2 heavy haymakers that get nothing but air. A wild hook from "Kumite" is ducked by "Thicker Than Oatmeal" who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. Both fighters move in to strike but miss their marks. As they jockey for position in the clinch Jim wins the momentum battle and falls into side control on top of Assis. The round comes to an end.

Round 3
Assis lands a double jab. Assis Belfort parries "Kumites" jab and lands a hook. Assis Belfort connects with a teep to the face of Jim. Assis takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. Assis blocks a strong high kick from Jim Douglas and counters with a devastating left hook. Round 3 is over.
