Round 1 Selas Nsajigwa eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Alper. Nsajigwa connects with a strong body shot combo. Selas Nsajigwa circles away from Ekmekci, landing strong kicks to the lead leg. Alper Ekmekci reaches down and trips Selas Nsajigwa with a beautiful ankle pick. Alper Ekmekci dives into back control. Selas Nsajigwa tries to stand up but Alper Ekmekci plants him back down with several strikes. Ekmekci lands a series of heavy punches forcing Selas Nsajigwa to roll to his back, giving Ekmekci mount. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Alper throws a cross that easily dodged by Nsajigwa. Both fighters move in to strike but miss their marks. As they jockey for position in the clinch Ekmekci wins the momentum battle and falls into side control on top of Nsajigwa. Ekmekci lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Alper delivers knees to the body and sharp forearms to the head forcing Selas Nsajigwa to turn over. Alper takes the back. Alper Ekmekci slides off to the side of Selas Nsajigwa and lands several heavy knees into his ribs. Before he can lose the position, Alper Ekmekci switches back to full back control. Giving up his back, Selas panics and gives up mount instead. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Ekmekci lands a jab, but it is returned by a sick uppercut from Selas. Nsajigwa circles Ekmekci, landing jabs at will. Alper Ekmekci lands a jab, but it is returned by a sick uppercut from Selas. Alper Ekmekci is staggered by a jab to the chin. Ekmekci is able to press Selas to the cage, forcing a momentary clinch. Selas wriggles out of the clinch and throws looping hooks to back Ekmekci off. Ekmekci hits an uppercut to the head of Selas followed by a hard hook. The round comes to an end.
Round 4 Selas narrowly dodges a cross from Ekmekci, but falls catching him in his guard. Selas Nsajigwa is pummeled by some well timed bombs from Alper. Ekmekci forces Selas Nsajigwas leg down, giving him the chance to pass into side control. Selas takes a few knees to the body while under Alpers side control. Alper Ekmekci slides his knee across the body of Nsajigwa and takes full mount. Ekmekci secures his position. Nsajigwa bucks off Alper Ekmekci and both fighters get to their feet. Round 4 comes to a close.
Round 5 Selas Nsajigwa connects with a strong body shot combo. Selas Nsajigwa throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Alper Ekmekci is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. Ekmekci attempts a lazy shot, which Selas Nsajigwa sprawls, eventually taking Ekmekci back. Selas lays into Ekmekci with some strong shots forcing Ekmekci to give up mount position. Ekmekci attempts to escape mount but has no luck. Selas swings his leg over locking in a textbook armbar. Alper taps out.
