Round 1 Pau Garcia connects with 1-2 jab hook combo and quickly steps away. Idi hunts down his opponent and throws 2 heavy haymakers that get nothing but air. Pau eats a jab,jab, then a hook from "SAAD AWAD". Idi connects with a series of punches forcing Garcia into a clinch. Idi Said takes the back of Pau Garcia who works for a kimura. Idi Said pulls his arm out of the hold and push Pau Garcia away. A sloppy scooping ankle block is pulled of by Said. Garcia is able to pull him into his guard. Idi takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Garcias guard. It doesn't pay off as Pau Garcia makes his way to standing. Idi Said presses forward and is able to jump up and grab onto Pau, aggressively pulling guard. Idi Said sets in an omaplata, forcing Pau to roll through, giving Idi Said side control. Idi Said lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Garcia gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Idi catches a leg kick and fires a hard punch to the head dropping Pau Garcia. Idi Said attempts to drop a fist on Pau Garcia, but misses and lands in his guard. Pau begins to posture on his side. Idi lands a couple of outside hooks and Pau returns to the guard. Idi Said squeezes his knee through the closed guard of Pau and advances to mount with a knee through pass. Said punishes Garcia with a series of strikes from the mount. Idi Said telegraphs his motions for an armbar, but Pau Garcia gives up his back to stop the attempt. Said lands a series of heavy punches forcing Garcia to roll to his back, giving Said mount. Idi Said secures his position. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 Idi Said shoots a takedown from a distance putting Garcia on the ground. Said drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Pau Garcia attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. Garcia throws a cross that easily dodged by Idi. Idi Said throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Garcia is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. "SAAD AWAD" shoots in and executes a textbook single leg takedown, giving him side control. "SAAD AWAD" throws his knee into the ribs of Garcia. Idi Said throws his knee into the ribs of Pau Garcia. Round 3 is over.
