Round 1 "COSTA" snaps back the head of Cao with a stiff jab. Paiva keeps Ruy at a distance with some well timed jabs. The fighters circle each other. "COSTA" lands multiple inside leg kicks that have "Dynasty Warrior" circling away. A wild hook from "COSTA" is ducked by "Dynasty Warrior" who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. Barbosa winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Both fighters begin to exchange "Dynasty Warrior" catches Ruy Barbosa with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Ruy Barbosa gather himself. Ruy Barbosa says he is ok and the fight continues. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 A jab from Ruy is blocked and a cross is returned by Cao Paiva. Ruy is dizzied on his feet from a furious punching sequence from "Dynasty Warrior". Ruy continually moves away from Cao, who stalks him patiently, occasionally landing a jab or cross. Cao Paiva traps Ruy Barbosa in the cage, landing a few strong punches to the face and body. Paiva connects with a hard straight to the body. Ruy Barbosa drops to a knee in pain giving Paiva the opportunity to finish him off with strikes.
