A welt begins to form under Eduardo Guerreros eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Ivan. Santos hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. Ivan Santos connects with numerous jabs to the face of Eduardo Guerrero. Ivan Santos hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Guerrero. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 Ivan connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Guerrero. Ivan Santos connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Santos fires a haymaker but misses spinning himself around. Eduardo quickly takes his back. The bell signals the end of round 3.
